The most recent visited sites will be shown on the top with a different category. There will be an icon on every history on the right hand side. Tapping on those icons will bring a drop down menu. Either detailed history can be viewed or the history can be deleted from there. Multiple items can be deleted at a time from the history. For this, the right hand icon has to be tapped and the ‘Remove selected items’ has to be selected. The ‘Clear all browsing data’ option also solves the problem.

Now here is the way to clear browsing history on Chrome for mobile for iOS. The same system as used for Android does not work in this OS. The “chrome: history” does not work over here. Hopefully Chrome will allow that feature soon in the iOS version of Chrome. Removing browsing history is important as it maintains the privacy of a person.
