HTC will release the HTC First which is an upcoming Android smart phone expected on 12th April, 2013. On 4th of April this handset was unveiled in a press event conducted by Facebook. This is the first android handset which promises to be preloaded with the user interface interaction layer of Facebook. This will be similar to one everyone sees in their PC. General
HTC First has a form factor of touch bar. On a 2G network it works using GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz band and a 3G network on HSDPA 850/900/900/1900/2100 MHz band. Dimensions of the handset are 126 x 65 x 8.9 mm (4.96 x 2.56 x 0.35 in) and have a weight of 123.9 gm. It will be available in Black, White, Red, or Pale Blue colors.
Display
The smart phone has a 4.67 inches Super LCD Capacitive touch screen consisting of 16 M colours. It has a display size of 1280 x 720 pixels with a density of 342 ppi. One of the interesting HTC First Features is its camera. The primary camera consists of 5 MP along with auto focus and LED flash. The front camera consists of 1.6 MP which can be used to take wide angle photos. The smart phone takes video at 1080p at 30 frames per second. Video formats supported in this device are MP4, H.264, H.263, AVI and WMV.
Processor
HTC First runs on a dual core 1.4 GHz Krait processor which processes amazingly fast. The chipset of this device is Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon 400 and its GPU consist of Adreno 305. The handset does come with cool feature but what keeps us in suspense is the HTC First Price.
OS and RAM
Another cool HTC First Specifications is about its operating system. It runs on Android 4.1 version which is known as Jelly Bean. It is known as Facebook Phone because, it features latest Facebook Home User Interface. The device runs Java based apps via Java MIDP Emulator. Android Browser and HTML5 help users to browse the internet. The handset comes with 1 GB of LPDDR2 RAM and with an internal storage of 16 GB.
